Sumac

Sumac is made from the Rhus Coriaria shrub, from which it originates, bears berries that are used in its production; these berries were first cultivated in some regions of the Mediterranean basin. The berries are first dried, then pulverized, and finally sifted so that the astringent seed can be removed.
