The logo is our founders paternal grandmother aniseh alzeer, a farmer woman that worked hard on her land, taught her son and grandchildren the generosity and spoils of harvesting your own land.
Aniseh was a strong figure and reference in her community because of her deep-rooted connection to cultural norms and traditions. Her fast wit and strong will lent her an almost legendary image in salfit.
The name mishkah is derived from the quranic ayah where god almighty describes his light through the use of an olive oil lamp!

Honoring Tradition and Empowering Women: The Story of Mishkah’s Logo and Sourcing Philosophy
The Zeer family are from Salfit and they are farmers, and to honor that the logo of Mishkah is Teita Aniseh, Hasan AlZeer’s paternal grandmother that worked hard on her land, taught her son and grandchildren the generosity and spoils of harvesting your own land. Teita Aniseh was a strong figure and reference in her community because of her deep-rooted connection to cultural norms and traditions. Her fast wit and strong will lent her an almost legendary image in Salfit. Another way Mishkah is celebrating their falahi (farmer) roots is by sourcing their products by falahi women all across Palestine and soon falahi women all across the Levant.
